The 2010 new Corvette convertible from Chevrolet ranges from $48,900 to over $100,000 depending on the options chosen. An American car with a 430-horsepower V-8 engine and yet it still gets 26 miles to the gallon on the highway. Prefer a new Mercedes Benz convertible? The 2010 Mercedes-Benz SLK 55 AMG has a V-8 front engine, rear wheel drive and goes from 0-60 in just 4.7 seconds. It comes with numerous safety features including both driver and passenger dual stage airbags and knee airbags. Base price is just $66,650.

The new Jaguar convertible, the 2010 Jaguar XK, is a luxury convertible at it's finest. It is faster and more powerful that the 2009 model and has a 385-horsepower, V-8 engine. The new Audi convertible, the 2010 Audi TT has a manual 6 speed transmission standard but there is an option for an automatic as well. This is one fast car -- Audi states it can do 155 MPH. It has a soft top that folds flush with the rear giving it exceptionally clean lines. Prices run from $37,800 - $48,900
